As the UK becomes more electric, with more sales of EVs occurring every year, some drivers still don’t want to make the transition. And that’s why there are various EV events out there to help drivers understand the benefits and appeal of driving an electric vehicle. Think about what you want to know about EVs; the different types of vehicles, the longest range electric cars, or even mobile chargers. There’s definitely an event for that.
Find out about the biggest EV events for the remainder of 2022 here and how mobile chargers can help.
Electric Vehicles Festival
When: 3 July
Where: Gaydon, Warwickshire
This summer, the British Motor Museum is hosting the Electric Vehicles Festival which will be showcasing all types of electric vehicles, as well as the opportunity to visit the Museum’s world-class collection of historic British cars.
If you’re thinking about going electric, the festival is the place to be. It has aided and assisted a number of people in their transition to electric vehicles and zero emissions; with a variety of brands and models on display. Visitors also will have the opportunity to speak to EV drivers about their experience, which could sway their decision.
Fully electric vehicles, including cars, scooters and buses, have the opportunity to join the electric vehicle display for just £10. To enter, book your ticket through the website. There are onsite EV charging points, however, to ensure you remain fully charged whilst displaying, why not invest in mobile chargers for your electric vehicle. Find out more here.
Big Green Wheels
When: 30 July
Where: S02 Guildhall Square, Southampton
Also in July, in partnership with Southern Sustainability, the Big Green Wheels Public Event focuses on the importance of electric vehicles to the environment. With a focus on the best-selling EVs, such as Tesla, they have guest speakers and EV experts to inform the sustainable benefits of going electric.
Activities that you can expect on the day include; test driving the latest electric vehicles; different types of EVs such as boats, bikes and mobility vehicles; and most importantly, electric vehicle charging.
The event is set to feature different types of electric vehicle charging, such as home charge points and mobile chargers. Here at Elite, we understand the importance of portable EV chargers for those on the go. EV drivers shouldn’t have to worry about not making the journey due to a lack of charge points available. Mobile chargers would change that. Drivers could be confident when driving, with the confidence that if their charge does run low, they simply just need to find a suitable location and start charging. They get to decide when and where.
London EV Show
When: 29 November – 1 December
